401k plan

Pittsburgh unit members are eligible to join a 401K savings plan. The one-page summary annual report for 2006 is now available along with the ones from 2005 and 2004. In addition, the plan description gives more background and details. (All 401K forms are in Adobe PDF format and require the free Acrobat Reader)

Also now available are several forms that can be printed out:
bulletRequest for distribution for anyone who is leaving the company and wishes to take their money out.

Authorization concerning "catch-up" contribution for 2006 (applies to ALL participating employees who will be at least 50 years old by end of 2006) This form should be submitted to PG payroll department by end of January.

The local treasury partially subsidizes the costs for the tax-deferred savings plan that is financed through payroll deduction. Unfortunately, the company doesn't contribute to the plan.
