Meetings

Our fall Great Lakes District Council meeting will be Nov. 15 & 16 in Detroit.

We'll be joined by the Midwest District Council. We'll be sending out hotel
information and a preliminary agenda as those developments are determined.

Our New VP
At the recent CWA convention, new TNG officers were sworn in. Among them was our new regional vice president, Lillian Covarrubias who is president of the Toledo local.

Here is her message:

Dear GLDC Brothers and Sisters,

Last Tuesday I was sworn in as this region's vice-president. I am excited and
proud to represent fellow Guild members.
I know there is a learning aspect to this position, but, I believe the skills that I use daily to represent local members will serve me well now.
It is my goal to communicate often, to listen carefully what our council needs are and communicate those needs to the executive council.
At the end of this note are the various numbers that I can be reached at, do not hesitate to call, e-mail, or write.
Again, I look forward to representing you.
