Our New VP
At the recent Sector Conference, Kevin Flowers from Erie was elected without opposition as our Region 3 vice president to represent the Great Lakes region.  Kevin succeeds Lillian Covarrubias of Toledo.

Our next meeting
Our next Great Lakes District Council meeting will be Nov. 4-5-6, 2011, in Erie, PA.

We'll be joined by delegates from the Midwest District Council for a multi-council meeting that will discuss TNG matters and talk about district councils serving as power centers for more effective serving to our members.

Also, we'll consider amending our bylaws to extend the terms for our officers from three to four years to coincide with the term lengths of CWA officers.

And, we'll elect new officers.
